- When you make a reservation or book a Tour with them via their customer reservation team by telephone.
- When you subscribe to the Magari Tours newsletter, participate in any Magari Tours feedback, or submit for Magari Tours attention via the ‘Contact Us’ form.
- Via unconditional data capture measures such as the use of cookies and studying the pages you read frequently (please see Cookies Policy for more information).
- When you participate in the online chat facility on the Website, in order to keep track of transcripts from chat conversations.
- In order to complete your booking with a Tour Operator having visited our Website, Magari Tours will need to collect information about you in order to provide you with the service you expect and the Tour/s you wish to book. This information may include, but is not limited to, details such as your name, your address, postcode, email address and telephone number. If you wish to book via the telephone, then in order to complete your booking we will need to take this information from you in order to process the booking and may write this down in order to process this booking. When you make a reservation for someone else through Magari Tours, we will request personal information about that individual. You should obtain the consent of other individuals prior to providing us with their personal information.
Usually, when we process your booking through our website, you are directed to a secure payment gateway where you can enter your credit card/payment details into the payment gateway for payment to be submitted. We will need to take credit card information from you so that payment can be made for your booking where you wish to book over the telephone and we may write this information down in order to process your booking – if we do, this information is not kept by Magari Tours.
- Magari Tours may disclose your data to certain permitted third parties, such as members of the Magari Tours group.
- By subscribing to the Magari Tours e-newsletter you consent to receive this by email as well as details of other offers from Magari Tours that Magari Tours thinks may be of interest to you. Magari Tours will never subscribe you to receive marketing from any third-party.
- By submitting to Magari Tours your holiday feedback form you consent for Magari Tours to use the information supplied to Magari Tours in customer testimonials, as well as any other media that you have chosen to supply by you, as described further in our Terms of Use. Where this is the case, your personal details such as address and contact details will not be displayed. Magari Tours retains the right not to feature specific feedback or comments on the Website.
- In order to complete your booking, Magari Tours will also need to collect information about you, and others included in your booking for the purposes of confirming your booking. This applies to any sensitive information that you give to us such as information relating to disabilities, dietary requirements and/or religious beliefs. Magari Tours will not request any personal information that is not required in order to fulfil your tour booking. Any personal information retained by Magari Tours is stored securely and is only accessible to those employed by Magari Tours, select members of the Albatross Group Accounts and IT Departments.
Magari Tours will not retain any personal information for a period longer than three years after you have travelled on a tour booked through Magari Tours.
